Join the CHERISH team on a site tour of Buckspool Promontory Fort.
We will walk from the car park at St Govan’s Chapel to Buckspool Fort along the Pembrokeshire Coastal path. Once we reach Buckspool Promontory Fort, CHERISH archaeologists will talk about the site, our work there, and the threats to its future. There will be chance to ask questions and discuss the archaeology.
We will then retrace our steps back to the car park.
Once the tour is finished there will be chance for attendees to walk down to St Govan’s chapel or continue exploring around the coastal path.
This walk does not involve any steep climbs and should be suitable for anyone with a reasonable level of fitness, but please remember to bring water and anything else you might need.
