This map shows our Welsh project areas. During the first year of CHERISH we worked hard with agencies, stakeholders, landowners and local groups to finalise our joint-nation working areas on the basis of knowledge and data gaps, priority areas of erosion risk and potential for collaboration. We continue to carry out survey work within the coastal areas shown while our priority baseline monitoring sites (including those illustrated) will be visited and surveyed more frequently, particularly after damaging winter storms, to monitor long term change.
