CHERISH: Sharing our Practice

This document provides a guide to the CHERISH ‘toolkit’, the approaches employed by the EU-funded CHERISH climate change and coastal heritage project between 2017 and 2023 to monitor and understand the past, present and near-future impacts of climate change on heritage sites and landscapes along the coasts and seas of Wales and Ireland.

Following an introduction to the project, Section 2 focuses on the 15 individual approaches within the CHERISH ‘toolkit’, providing an overview and analysis across a standardised set of criteria, complete with case studies from CHERISH study sites. Section 3 brings the ‘toolkit’ together with a visual overview of all the approaches to help guide users and decision making, ending with two final case studies showcasing the integrated ‘toolkit’ in use.
